BC - Torque FC - Red Bench - Red Off - even Deff - even Chem - even I think Wilt would be the best big in this series. I think he and Kareem are equally good in a vacuum, but I also think that facing each other prime Wilt is a bad matchup for prime Kareem. But West would be the best backcourt player. I don't love either team's spacing, i think teams with essentially two post players should have multiple legit 3pt shooters in the lineup. But they do both have a shooter off the bench. Very close. I felt much stronger about the previous matchup. I'm leaning Rednation, but I may re-think.
Is anyone good with computers? I can't get certain old games but i found them on youtube. However, they are blurry for me. They work fine for some seconds, then they get blurry, then ok again. Impossible to watch. For example: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/RV6ZOKR9Ug4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Does this game keep getting blurry for everyone, or is it my laptop? If so, any ideas what's wrong?
I count West as a 3pt shooter of course, otherwise I'd insta vote against that team. The redeeming part there is that team having a lot of midrange shooters. Still, 3 of those guys (Kareem, Walton, Worthy) are at their best when given touches in the post. Peja helps, West helps, overall it's decent but not perfect.
Mine is working fine but what you described happens to me on occasion. I always assumed it was my connection, so I just tried again later or let the video load completely before pressing play. Edit: also, maybe your flash player isn't updated?
Torque Vince Carter's prime isn't enough to shut down west. Also glove locks down Thomas but torques front court is too good
torques bc is very good.. but i think their length is the problem. Bill walton is a center and i don't know why he's playing PF here... (jopatmc) i think RN needs more shooting ill go with RN with this one.. sorry for late vote.. really busy at work
I'm very much in agreement with on how DFB broke it down. An arguement can be made that torque may even have the slightly more talented team but RN's team is very close. The determining factor to me was that I like how RN's roster fits and the roles each player would play on his team. Therefore, I vote for RN.
Totally random draft idea....sort of a mock draft pick'em What if 10 of split up the 60 picks in the draft tomorrow. Team 1 drafts who they think will go 1st in the draft. Then Team 2 drafts who they think will go 2nd in the draft and so on and on. In the end we try to count up which team picked the most number of correct players at the correct draft spot. I know I'm grasping at straws with this draft idea but hey at least I'm trying. Btw, I came up with the idea literally 2 minutes ago so haven't thought it out fully.
Torque - lll (via VBG, Jvu, Jmc) RedNation - lll (via Maloe, Donatas, Jamers) FC - RN BC - torque Ben - RN Off - RN Def - tie Chem - RN I'm going with RN. I think torque's lack of spacing from his front court will hinder Isiah and west as it let's nation's team clog the paint more and we see can happen from the spurs/grizz series.
I think Kareem-Walton is similar or possibly better spacing compared to Wilt/McHale, actually (Walton and Kareem both had some range). The rest of the roster also provides comparable spacing. As far as spacing, both of those teams looked very similar to me, both had issues. Very close overall. Anyway. The last two rounds were good TV!
I say we have a panic(maybe vbg means the same with auction draft). What i am proposing is a turbo draft of like 1-2 minutes(maybe 5) per pick. Lots of slips and overlooking of players, and in turn lots of steals. No amnesty to fix mistakes. Bring the pressure to see who can draft the best when the heat is on.
