No one seems to want to vote and I'm just going by what happened last draft to get things moving. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=7999590&postcount=2256 I don't think it's fair either, but that's what happens when people don't vote.
^^ Yea, that's also one of my gripes. No one takes time, begins with waiting for enough players before the draft. Draft thread exists for under a day and we have to start, bs. We all knew that 12 players would result in super teams and make judging a bich. Same with voting, how the F you go to the next round when most matches are undecided and some even tied? Feels like there's a schedule and everything is under pressure.
If we wait too long people will forget and we might not even finish. 2 days of voting is more than enough, especially when only 5 people are voting. I mean if it's too much of a chore to do all at once, do what lcah was doing.
I think after drafts each team need to set their coaching strategies.. Ie 1st, 2nd, 3rd scoring options Type of game plan etc. Our drafts are very defense focused and if you take a look at some of the teams from past drafts.. Some teams made it far in the finals w/ only one scoring option and the rest were all defensive players I think if we do this.. It will balance the defensive - offensive player ratio. Which I'm pretty interested in seeing the adjustments people make in this draft
re describing your team's game plan - interesting idea, but I suspect if we start discussing our own teams, we aren't grown ups enough not to turn it into crying and b****ing. i generally try to avoid discussing my team until the voting is done or until i lose, it tends to lead to too much drama.
To be honest I'm really turned off that my team of Kobe and Russell didn't get past the first round. It seems like no matter what judging criteria we use there it is flawed. This seems to be a case where maybe things were analyzed. I mean Kobe and Russell are a perfect 1-2 punch. Kobe gets a dominant big man that doesn't command the ball. Anyways time to move on I guess.
You can't always win and you should respect voters as well. Not everyone has the the same persception as you do about how player chemistry etc works. It's a hypothetical voting process dot take it personal.. Read donatas post on this page. You were fortunate enough to win back to back.. Some never won at all.
I'm not taking it personal. I just didn't think I should have lost 1st round especially with Ray Allen guarding Kobe but oh well it is what it is.
I've been a Miami hater but I gotta give them props. Congrats to Heat. I hope Harden is watching this and getting fired up.
