    *Random fact of the night*

Rick, Jon, and Brent Barry all ended their careers in Houston.

Rockets fans are extremely biased, but there's no way you put Hakeem over Shaq. Mt Rushmore is about achievements and career accolades. Shaq collected trophies for years and was the undisputably most dominant guy in the game for a much longer time than Hakeem.

If it's achievements, then I'd replace Oscar with LeBron already. Maybe Duncan instead of Hakeem as well.

If it's prime like in this draft, then LeBron over Oscar and Shaq over Russell.

I see your point of achievements to primes.

IMO Lebron is still after them. I account leadership and character into my vote. You lose a little credibility for flopping, crying, and joined the monstars super crew padding stat. You want that as your star player in an all time draft? Nah not yet. All different eras and lack of cam time in the olden days makes it harder to judge the early decades of basketball.

Anyway, in categories they are the best in some way but I assume you are categorizing in order base on prime ability?

I could see athletic ability, talent and skill set in your order.

In terms of leadership I see Russell, Oscar, Shaq-Lebron

My point is I don't like how you sum up primes like it's player A is better than player B. it makes it appear if you had a lower draft pick your team is going to lose.. That's why everyone who had a too 3-5 pick has won in previous drafts because it's been judged on a base of this player is better than that player. No account of leadership. Some account team chemistry.

    Maybe I'm just trippin. It's 7:30am and

I'm curious why you think others don't account for that. Do you see Derrick Coleman selected high in the draft? He should be, if people didn't account for character and leadership.

Ugh, I'm a die hard Rockets fan but I just don't like the way they play basketball or James Harden.

It's such an annoying position to be in.

That comment was in reference of the order you had of Lebron > oscar > Shaq > Russell. In multiple previous drafts, the majority of our votes are determined: offense, defense, bench, chemistry. Lack of leadership discussion in terms to who is determined a winner.

Derrick Coleman does not belong high in draft. He is a one-time all star who shoots below .500. Not saying he is a bad player just has not proven to anyone on this board to be chosen that high.

Hehe. It was funny in a way. It's like "I account for defense when I judge players." You don't say. :p All of us account for offense, defense, effort, toughness, selfishness, etc. All of that is part of being a better basketball player. It's common sense.

We are drafting based on primes, by the way. Not sure if you've seen Coleman, but he was a super talent. He could do everything. Physical ability, outside game, inside game, rebounding, defense when he wanted to.
His problem was the mental side and consistent effort.
