Anyone wanna assess my team?

 

Spacing is good, except for Stockton you got four very athletic guys for their respective positions.

Bosh+Yao is a nice duo sparcing spacing-wise, as both have range and draw defenders out of the paint, leaving space for Gervin and Dr. J to attack the basket.

Stockton running P&R with Bosh&Yao should be really effective, both can finish in the paint or pick&pop. He will also find Gervin&Dr. J for shot opportunities or drives to the basket. Transition will be pretty dangerous with all these guys.

On defense, your paint protection should be good with Yao&Bosh. Problem is Stockton, Gervin plus Doc paired. Your perimeter defense should lack in comparison to other teams and especially vs. all-time scorers. This could also lead to Bosh and Yao having to help more than usual and leaving opponents more room to score in the paint.

 

Stockton and Dr. J were both really good defenders.

Iverson is just so hard in these drafts but an Iverson - Dirk pick and roll would be completely unstoppable. I love Dirk. He makes guards look so much better.

Two elite defensive stoppers and Ray was solid defensively. Could struggle against an elite PG though. Biggest strength and weakness would be guarding the pick and roll.

Weak interior defense. Greatest passing frontcourt of all time.

 

Thanks. I drafted m.gasol because of his offense and defense combo but I don't think he gets credit for his defense in this setting.

 

Oh, didn't see Marc Gasol. He helps defensively. Good passer too. Very good complimentary piece.

 

Havlicek/sabonis for drob/manu maybe....i'm not sure just throwing it out there
