I agree with everyone on your list execpt gasol.....he's missed a lot of game this season and I would switch him with Brooks
Thanks for reminding me (At Durv)Again I forget who but one of them said he(Gasol) shouldn't make it because he has been injured.
The only Zach Randolph is a debate is because he's well Zach Randolph. If Tim Duncan was up for reserves and put up the numbers Zach did this year there would be no question.
Nash edges out T-Mac for the other guard spot. Barkley responds, "Thank God!" Finally an erudite observation from the Round Mound. LOL!
My reserves West Brandon Roy Chris Paul Kevin Durant Zach Randolph Monta Ellis (I know this probably won't happen) Dirk Nowitzki Deron Williams East Joe Johnson Gerald Wallace Chris Bosh Rajon Rondo Stephen Jackson David Lee Antwan Jamison
Chris Paul and Nowitzki definitely will be in the all-star. and the top 6 guards of the east are: wade, iverson, carter, allen, rose, arenas. lol at carter, iverson and arenas, that havent do anything in the season, there is not any other guard in the east? aaron brooks would have more chances to play as a reserve if he were on the east.
My reserves list: Rajon Rondo Joe Johnson Andre Iguadola Gerald Wallace Chris Bosh Josh Smith David Lee Chris Paul Brandon Roy Deron Williams OR Aaron Brooks OR Chauncey Billups Kevin Durant Dirk Nowtizki Zach Randolph OR Pau Gasol Chris Kaman
There's no way Chauncey makes the team. Nor does he really deserve to IMO. I'd love to see Landry make the team, but he's going to get hosed.
My team: West Amare Duncan Melo Kobe Nash Durant Dirk Paul Roy MEllis DWilliams ZRandolph Gasol Billups East Dwight KG LBJ DWade AI Pierce JJohnson JSmith Bosh GWallace BLopez BJennings DRose MoWilliams
Kobe Bryant was an all-star STARTER his second season, even though he came off the bench in all but one game that season.
The All-Star team allows 2 wildcards, meaning it does not matter what position the player plays. I personally think Aaron Brooks should make it over Pau Gasol because gasol has been incosistent and missed 17 games already. AARON BROOKS BETTER MAKE THE TEAM!!!!!!!!!!
Lakers are 21-4 with Gasol in the lineup, 11-6 without him. He's been playing at such a high level, I'd pick him over Brooks anyway. The team is already guard-heavy. But if a guard is to be added, there is really no sensible argument for Brooks over Billups. Actually, I may take Billups over Gasol now that I think about it.
Chris Bosh is another one that got robbed..no one talking about that. Bosh is having by far his best season averaging 24 and 11.. i know its the raptors and that no1 really notices them but come on..
