There was nothing wrong with it. It was just showmanship. I know some people have little respect for Gerald Green because he hasn't accomplished anything in the league yet, but it was his time on the big stage. So what if you feel like you're an all time great? Everybody appreciates who you are, and you don't have to throw some kid's shoes on the floor just to feel better about yourself. I have zero respect for Darryl Dawkins after that move, and I don't care what he has accomplished in the past. He's a very small person.

The reason I don't like Gerald Green has nothing to do with that. His attitude is as awful as I have ever seen on any person. No smile, no humility and a load of thuggish attitude.
I don't know the guy personally, but he seemed like a pretty respectable guy from what I saw tonight. Plus, the Houston tattoo on his forearm is badass!!
right....because it's not a dunk. It's just throwing a ball through the basket. I'm not hating on Howard. I loved the show he put on. The costume was great. But when I saw the replay I was disappointed.
You do know that the dictionary also says that the word ****** means an ignorant person. But we all know what it really means. Well my point is the dicitonary is wrong in this case.
I bet me and my teammates know a whole lot more about playing the game of basketball than most of the people on this board. My point is that we play basketball and dunk on a regular basis, and by every last one of our definition's .... it's not a dunk. I'd go out on a limb to say at least 25% of the people on this board have never dunked a basketball, making me and most of my teammates more "expert" than you may think.
Well I eat donuts every day and eat my Oreo's with milk. I wager a million bucks I know a lot more about dunking than you and your silly high school games.

The replay is what actually made it sweeter for me. The theme of the dunk was Superman. Superman is buff. Superman can fly. Dwight Howard in slow motion looked like a huge mass of muscle flying through the air for a long time. He accomplished exactly what he wanted. And he did with a smile. Dwight did a DWINK which is far better than a dunk. Anybody can dunk but who can dwink? Who agrees with me that Dwight shoudl be cast for the next Superman movie? Look at the pictures above, Doesn't he look more realistic than the actual Superman?
Beating someone one-on-one has nothing to do with dunking. Hakeem never won a dunk contest, but could never be stopped one-on-one. But according to your logic, Gerald Green could beat Hakeem in one-on-one. Care to edit your post now?
