The 3pt contest is fun because you get semi-big names to shoot and it's timeless...The dunk contest continues to have young guys no causal fan would know and it's all about props and jumping over people. It has run its course. I'd rather see a 1 on 1 tournament of like the top 8 players
Such a let down from last year. So many missed dunks, the makes were weak, repetitive dunks with the jump overs, dead crowd. Loved the 3pt contest of course, skills challenge was nice but I think they should make it more challenging, it seems too much of a crap shoot.
Glad Eric Gordon won the 3Pt contest. Can only imagine Harden not winning MVP since he's playing along side the winner of the 3point contest. wait. sounds familiar.
I just want these knuckleheads to have a clear vision of the dunks they want to pull off in the competition. How long does it take them to know and practice the 3-5 dunks they will need to win? they always seem to come up with the dunks when they are on the court! why?
Its time to get rid of the dunk contest there is no reason to keep it when its good once every 10yrs.
