GR III and Jones Jr. are by no means mediocre, you should check some of their material out, especially Jones.

Excuse me? Jones has insane hops and shows off dunk contest level stuff constantly in these videos, there are very few people who can recreate these dunks. Either you've never watched him or you're just mad no one with a bigger name is in it.

Have you really watched the videos? Not sure how someone that does behind the back windmills, side-of-backboard through the legs, 360 through the legs and windmills near the FT line qualifies as “their dunks still suck“. He doesn't just have hops.
No point in comparing him to these guys when there's clear evidence that he's a world-class dunk contest participant. Besides the under the legs dunk that Gordon did in the last contest, he hasn't shown anything that's really better than the stuff Jones pulled off.
Lavine and Giannis need to be in this with Gordon. Deandre is an ok 4th. Would have been a sick contest. The NBA should just offer a 200k prize to the winner or a guaranteed commercial advertising deal with the NBA or one of its partners. Winning it is good for any players brand. I don't see why they don't do it.
They took Centers off the All-Star ballot and placed them all in the Skills Challenge. Meanwhile, skills champ, Beverley is like WTF?
