Dwight Howard gets what the show was all about. I was about to give up on this dunk contest until he decided to roll in his own backboard.
i understand showmanship, and theatrics and **** like that, but it all comes down to the dunk. this dunk contest has sucked so far. dwight howard's dunk didn't seem special to me. putting on a cape doesn't do it for me. your dunk does it for me. michael, clyde, nique, wouldn't throw a cape and look like idiots.
This is where we're missing Barkley. They'da announced Sonny Weems is throwing passes and Charles would go "Who iz DAT?!"
that shouldnt factor in this contest imo. Nate would be out already if I was a judge. Just cause he is short doesnt mean he shouldnt have to make difficult dunks. THis whole thing is a joke, they are giving way too high of scores for not very good dunks
he should have had the top score in the first round but somehow they gave him the lowest... should be Dwight v Rudy for sure.
J.R's attempt took several tries as well.. although not to the point of having his time run out.. the time differential is balanced by the end payoff.. Rudy's being much higher..
Making a 12 foot dunk look easy counts for something. But I agree... Rudy was robbed, and the overall quality of the dunks has been uninspiring.
Yeah somewhat but I'll take C-Bud's 40+ vertical over Rudy's weak ass dunks any day of the year. And thats being objective too.
i'm voting for Nate.. everyone else should too.. on the grounds of this dunk.. and the erroneous judgement on Dwight's first..
