This whole all star weekend thing has become a complete shamockery. It was painful to watch everything from the GEICO competition to the dunk contest. Just terrible.
wow I hate to say this.. but Cheryl Miller is a PRICK.. did u see her when she announce the results??/ prick..
I would never argue that. His first dunk was lame, and his second dunk looked pretty good when he finally managed to make it on what...the 8th try? He didn't belong, in my opinion. While I'm posting, I just wanted to say that I think it's silly how everyone says that all the dunks have been done before. I can sit here for 30 minutes and think up at least half a dozen dunks that nobody has ever done (in the NBA contest, at least), and that would score 45+ if done right. You'd think a guy who knew for weeks/months that he'd be in the contest would come up with something. I also have to say that it was a waste to go see that stuff in 3D. It was blurry, the feed wasn't from TNT (just one lame announcer the whole time), and the 3D was worthless aside from a very small number of cool moments. The camera angles you would expect for 3D coverage (with players running at you, basketballs flying toward you, etc.) were nowhere to be found. Even when it worked, the effect was minimal. I would rather have been at a sports bar eating some wings and watching on a projector screen. And lastly, the most exciting dunk of the night was from Derrick Rose.
absolutely boring man.. I missed the live telecast, so I planned to watch the delayed telecast at night, and I got to miss my friend's dinner treat because of that. And boy, I'm absolutely screwed and disappointed.. It's the worst EVER! ughh
They definitely need to bring in one on one and two on two round robin type games. And seriously , doesn't the league ever listen or do any research. do something about the dunk contest. this year's was worse than the 94 one with baby miner, finley, antonio harvey , jamie watson!, tim perry! and tony dumas.
