DFB could you explain that trade you did? 2-3-4 for 1-7-8 seems pretty messed up with the talent drop-off in one Conference.
If you are saying that you want a veto, you guys are free to vote on it, as always. If the majority feels it's veto-worthy, i guess we'll see how we could go about un-doing it. That said, while a George+Lopez core is probably is going to be the best two man core in the draft (other than maybe LeBron+anyone), but George+Lopez+late picks may or may not be better than Horford+Deng+depth or Hibbert+Wall+depth, Rondo+Varejao+depth, etc. And still not clear how Red's deep-ish team will look compared to the other teams. So again, you guys are free to vote on any trade veto -- if you think that the trade breaks the draft. But not sure what explaining you want me to do here. People were split on who did better with that trade at the time, me/Red didn't know it either, and tbh we still probably don't know.
You misunderstood me breh, wasn't about veto, blaming or anything. Just wanted to get inside on your plans and why youa think it'd give you an advantage.
Yung t, I think it screwed both of us over tbh. Horry, do the same thing for kyrie? Jvu its still on the table, my upcoming pick and a third for wall and 8
I thought that Lopez and Horford dropped too far and wanted one of them. I also don't necessarily want George as the main scorer, he's more of the 2nd option or at least 1b type of option. Lopez is a legit efficient scorer, can create his own shot and blocks a bunch of shots. George/Lopez should be easy to build around, the main needs (scoring, perimeter defense, rim protection) are covered, now just need role players who don't mess it up. It may come back to bite me, but I wasn't at all sure I could find a top scoring option or a shot blocker with my later picks. One of them maybe. Both, unlikely. As for Red, it will be interesting to see how that goes. There are still some very nice players that I think should've gone before the ones that were picked.
I also thought at the time that VBG will end up pairing Lopez and Horford (i wasn't sure if Yoursecretlover was going to really play). That would've been a killer. Those two together would make each other twice better.
I was really torn between Chandler and Lopez... I swear i went with Chandler because people view centers as defenders first...
I was thinking about that haha. No team would be able to match my size. And Hoford is mobile for being a big man. @Bigmaloe, if you have a good pick and roll PG then going with Chandler is fine. Lopez was actually quite solid defensively this year.
I know he was solid defensively, but the stigma is still out there... I got a good PnR in Jrue because of that...
