Stop complaining about Chuck not getting any votes, facts are you cant compare the amount of votes he gets competing vs the likes of Duncan, Bogut, Perk, Dwights of the world with what Grant Hill gets vs perimeter players. Theres only 1 vote to go around, chances are those coaches are choosing the DPOY first and then 1 other guy. That 1 vote at C is worth alot.
The Rockets were a below average defense because of Chuck Hayes. He can't control the paint. He can do man to man defense against some post players who don't shoot over him and can take 1-2 charges per game. No blocks, no altered shots. All the other centers bring that to hte table. He's an amazing defender in his own right but in the big picture, if Yao was there instead of Chuck Hayes our defense would be better. Hell, if Perkins was there it would be better.
For what it is, I honestly think the list is pretty solid. Yeah some of the votes could and should swing a bit differently, but does it really matter who gets a few more scrap of votes?
