Link with full post is below. Lot of interesting points. Not much new information we weren't aware of, but some probably are better off knowing a few things. https://mobile.twitter.com/nballaccess/status/768787699415343105 NBA All Access – @nballaccess Harden is the most under appreciated player in the game and the media brainwashes people from how good he really is -James Harden thread: 5:30 AM - 25 Aug 2016 NBA All Access @nballaccess Rockets: 1999-harden (2013) 16 playoff wins 2013-2016 14 playoff wins NBA All Access @nballaccess 2012: Thunder make finals *lose harden* Haven't made finals since, just shows how impactful even a 22 year old harden was NBA All Access 14h14 hours ago NBA All Access @nballaccess NOBODY has scored more total points than James Harden has since he's joined Houston NBA All Access 14h14 hours ago NBA All Access @nballaccess Since joining the rockets, the only person to have a higher PPG over the course of the last four season NBA All Access @nballaccess 2012: Thunder make finals *lose harden* Haven't made finals since, just shows how impactful even a 22 year old harden was NBA All Access 14h14 hours ago NBA All Access @nballaccess NOBODY has scored more total points than James Harden has since he's joined Houston NBA All Access 14h14 hours ago NBA All Access @nballaccess Since joining the rockets, the only person to have a higher PPG over the course of the last four season
Thank you Harden if he retires a rocket will surpass a lot hakeems franchise records. Harden is a monster talent
lol its sad but true but man im still reading this thread on harden, so much content to either espn. klay and jimmy butler are nowhere near harden, and the gap is super wide regardless of what espn, and bleacherreport tell you
I've said this before: if he wins a ring he's top 5 SG all time. If he keeps his production up and he ups his efficiency under D'Antoni and achieves the ultimate success there's going to be a legitimate argument to make that he will be our greatest player by the time he retires, certainly equal.
Before anyone makes any hasty conclusions about James Harden being a great player, may I present some under the radar evidence that points to the contrary. Lock the thread if you will admins.
Steals, mvp, championships, defensive player of the year, all nba teams, all star teams. Doing all those at the same time.
Probably easier to list the franchise records harden will set. Points, ts% (for a given level of usage), and maybe assists?
here's the list, http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/HOU/leaders_career.html Hakeem's got a lot of them. James is up there on some of them.
Harden is shaping this off-season completely different. Went from feature on TMZ to being featured on NBA All Access and its elk. Went from being seen drunk at concerts to being seen playing ball in multiple leagues throughout the country (mostly LA) while managing to show up to random baskeball camps. Harden, Happy Birthday! You are a true hero to many people in this world.
NOBODY has scored more total points than James Harden has since he's joined Houston this is the stat that stood out for me, with all the superstars in the league. Harden is number 1 in pts scored during a 4 year period. He may actually catch hakeem in total points at this rate. Thank you god for James Harden
James harden is tied with the great hakeem in career steals per game, thats a record harden can break
Could depend on how long he plays. Hakeem was averaging over 2 steals per game through about the age of 28
Harden can single handedly carry a team to the playoffs in the very tough Western Conference. That's why he is a top 5 caliber player even in a down year.
