Once I get the game I'll prolly give it a try playing w/ yall. If we can get 10 people we can do 5v5, should be fun. Of course both teams will prolly be the Rockets, lol

Again, let's plan for 8pm Tuesday, guys. It's sounding like everyone could probably make it at that time. Everyone try to be there at 8pm sharp. Go to an PLAYER MATCH, then JOIN MATCH, then select TEAM-UP as your game type, and leave the other settings default. I will start the game up around 8:05; join my game as soon as you see it appear in the lobby so you can grab your spots (there's no way to do a private game that I can find). Also, if you can connect to the internet via a hard-line connection rather than wireless, that would be helpful. I tried playing online a bit, and several times games got bogged down from people with bad connections. I had to run a 50-ft cable from my router into my living room, but it helped.
I don't think we're going to be able to play man. Online play is full of lag right now, I think we should wait for another patch. I'm always losing my connection to 2k Sports. I'm about 6 feet away from my router and I can host matches on COD4 so I think I should be fine going with wireless. I hate wired.

I did just try online again myself, and it seems even worse than it was yesterday. I'll still be there tomorrow night, but we might just have to wait a week on this.
fyi, I'll play as whoever.. though I always enjoy running as PG. But I definitely can only go wireless here.. I ended up out of town last second, so I just actually got the game today.
Figured ...sports games always suck horribly online. I tried Madden the other day, lags horribly. I have a good connection too, no other games ever lag, just sports. I wish they could have dedicated servers for them, lol.
I haven't gotten a single online game to work. I've tried team up, ranked match, quick match, custom match, streetball, etc. They need to get this fixed. Could it be bad enough that they end up getting sued for not delivering the advertised product? The videogame industry is huge, and there are some real fanatics out there that I'm sure would push the issue if this goes on for too long...
I got two or three games to work on Sunday (all team-ups). Later on at night though I started getting randomly kicked from a lot of games.
i love how you have to go through all these menus just to play your friend. Why do have to go to to player match, create a game, and join a lobby just to invite my friend to play? It took me about 10 minutes between each game to set up a rematch cause the lobbies would be full.
Yup, I'll be there as planned. But if it kicks us a few times, I think we should reschedule for same time next week, assuming the servers will be fixed.
