Tracy McGrady- 93 Yao Ming- 92 Steve Francis- 80 Bonzi Wells- 80 Mike James- 80 Rafer Alston- 79 Shane Battier- 78 Luther Head- 74 Aaron Brooks- 73 Luis Scola- 72 Chuck Hayes- 72 Kirk Snyder- 71 Jackie Butler- 69 Steve Novak- 67 Justin Reed- 66 Dikembe Mutumbo is also in the game as a free agent (I don't know his rating yet). Overall, that is four new Rockets who weren't in the game last year (Scola, Brooks, Novak, Butler). Lucas III, and Landry didn't make it. Reed won't make the Rockets final roster come opening day, but just drop him and pick up Deke, and you have a nice, ful 15 man roster to start your association.
I posted this in another forum, but I thought alot of 2k/rockets fans would like to read it. It's a breakdown of the play roles and minutes I plan to give to my players. You can also unlock Spanoulis with a code. He is rated 69. Same as Butler, better than Reed and Lucas.
Why would they have V-Span as a locked character. Who would want to unlock him? I think Roderick Rhodes is also a locked player
Where'd u hear this? Because someone on OS who has the game gave me those rosters and ratings and Lucas isn't on it. It'd be cool if he was in the FA pool.
I did some BETA testing on it. I am pretty sure Lucas was on there with a 67 and Spanoulis had a 69. Spanoulis and some players like that are National Team players so some players like that had special codes. Lucas isn't so he could be dropped probably.
I think you are getting it confused with NBA Live 08. I think that is the only game with the National Teams.
Can you link me your proof, I havent been able to find the Rockets roster and ratings for either game. Thanks!
Thanks for the ratings. Not too bad really, I doubt I will do much tinkering with them except for Scola's. I think he should be closer to 77 or 78 versus the 72 which I think is too low. Brooks with a 73 is pretty solid. Maybe Luther's and Hayes' numbers bumped a point or two. Alston at 79 is just way to high. I would place him at 75.
Tracy McGrady- 93 Yao Ming- 92 Steve Francis- 80 Bonzi Wells- 80 (I'll drop him to a 76) Mike James- 80 Rafer Alston- 79 (I'll drop him to a 76) Shane Battier- 78 (I'll raise him to a 80) Luther Head- 74 Aaron Brooks- 73 Luis Scola- 72 (I'll raise him to a 78) Chuck Hayes- 72 (I'll raise him to a 74) Kirk Snyder- 71 Jackie Butler- 69 Steve Novak- 67 Justin Reed- 66 (I'll cut him) Dikembe Mutumbo- (I'll give him a 73)
i understand your skepticism. My source is that there are like 3 people on Op eration Sports.com who have the game, and are answering questions and posting videos and stuff (pretty cool).
ratings look fair enough.. except for Battier..if Alston is a 79..then Shane should be at least an 82-81 rating
Are these the official rosters? Just wondering. I really wanted to play as Landry and see how he was in the game. By the way, this is a little off topic but is Landry signed yet?
Huge props to 2K for trying to get the Rosters as accurate as possible. John Lucas III is in the game (meaning the Rockets have a grand total of 17 players in total who made the game. No Landry, but 17 players is real good. Spanoulis made it as well, lol.
