Yep. Just trade every player who's below "70" (except the players you like) onto the retro teams for those players. Kind of a pain in the ass, but it's fun to do a season where every team is really good. After all, the game is easy enough without having to play the Bulls. I guarantee that the worst team in the league after adding the old-school players to the draft is an "85."
Doesnt x-box live come out in Nov? and whens 2k3 come out.. Rox Box, me and you should have a little game against eachother
I cannot wait til NBA2K3, NBA2K2 is just the best sports game ever!!! My tag will be Cipherous when XBOX live comes out and I will be letting you guys know whos boss I hate the fact that Steve Francis can dunk over shaq and anybody with a cross over can score at will.
Just to add some more annoying aspects to an otherwise very good game. Yes ZRB, the AI can be very bad at times. - When you take your wing players and try to drive baseline, sometimes, the defender will just leave you and let you shoot a wideopen jumper. - You can leave a player wideopen underneath the basket, and the computer will fail to notice and choose to take a contested jumpshot. - You can just be standing underneath the basket, but if a player on the opposing team dunks and touches you while he lands, it is sometimes called a blocking foul. - The ref when he gives the ball to the inbounder to inbound, sometimes does it backwards. - The computer's clock management is absolutely horrid, especially near the end of quarters. - Sometimes when you're on defense, players switch for no reason to guard a different player. - Jumpshots go in at way too high of a %. Amen about the Shaq thing. He's supposed to be ineffective outside of 10 feet, yet he sinks 18-20 foot fadeways with ease. It's also almost impossible to guard his dropstep, even when triple-teaming him. - I totally agree with the inability to fastbreak. The computer's transition defense is way too good. They get back at superhuman speed. The wing players turning around and stopping to catch the outlet pass adds to the problem. -The comment on the bench players being mediocre at everything, even aspects they're supposed to excel at is a very good point as well. Of course, these aren't anywhere near serious flaws; just annoying aspects of the best basketball video game series out there.
Shaq hitting jumpers from 18 feet is all the more frustrating because there's an easy way to fix it: give each player a shooting range, something NBA Live has always had. Shaq would have a shooting range of 8 feet, and then you wouldn't have to worry about him doing that.
-Well your computer teammates don't play good defense! It seems like I have to give help defense way to much or the computer team will get several easy dunks.Because of this I end giving up alot of open jumpshots. -Everytime I try and take a charging foul it's nearly called a blocking foul. -You don't get to the free throw line enough -The player gets too many cheap blocks. Ratliff/Dice/Duncan seem to be the best shot blockers.I can sit under the basket and wait for the computer to come charging in for a dunk and I just block his shots. -The players computer plays TERRIBLE one on one Isolation defense.
Yes, it comes out on Nov. 15, the one year aniversary of the console's release. If you go here and click on the left side for beta testers, there is a slim chance of you getting choosen. I have already been choosen and just waiting for the email so I can purchase my Communicator set. NBA 2K3 should be coming out mid Oct. according to various sites below: GameStop EBWorld
