    For Yao Ming, you have:

    Shooting close range: 72
    Shooting medium range: 73
    Shooting 3pters: 78

So as he moves further from the basket, he shoots better?

I would reverse that completely. Afterall, you have Tito Maddox shooting 77 from close range.

    Close range 78
    Med. range 75
    Long range 72

    Excellent work. Love your site.

I am getting this game soon hopefully.

How does the home advantage work? ie, can you make the home team have an advantage etc? That would be very cool IMO.

Like home team 53, away 47 or something...so that it's harder to win on the road and makes getting home advantage in the play offs worth something.

The game is not that advanced yet. Good idea though. Maybe next year.

Actually, you can give the home team an advantage by moving the "Home" shooting sliders up a notch, among other things.

I had to make estimations on his ratings.

You did it fine. I just thought that his shooting should be better when he is closer to the basket.

It doesn't mean that at all.

    Uhhhh??? Yes it does.

So you are telling me a player like Jarron Collins can shoot better from the inside than Yao Ming?

By the same token, you are also saying that Ming has a better 3 point shot than:

    Michael Jordan
    Jerry Stackhouse
    Kobe Bryant
    Stephon Marbury

And the list goes on and on.

It is blatantly clear than Yao's "Close range" shot should be up around 78 and his "3 point shot" should be down around 70.

It doesn't mean that Yao is going to hit a higher % of outside shots, than inside shots. Which is what you made it sound like. Yao's forte is outside shooting, therefore his outside shooting rating should be higher than his inside scoring.
