Just wanted to make sure everyone knew that 2K2 Is the BEST GAME EVER...(until 2K3 comes out I guess).
I've had a PS2 for months now. I said I'd eventually get an XBox. I'll probably get one in the next couple of months... ... right after I recover from the purchase of a Universal MSDN subscription (dear God, that blew my wallet up so hard, I think it took my ass with it. )

Rokkit, yeah, Sega does. I hated Live 2k2. On its lowest setting, you could destroy it. On its next difficult one, it could destroy you. There was no happy medium. Got bored with it. I haven't had a chance to play 2k2 much to be honest, so I probably wouldn't be able to give the best of opinions.
i know that in the dreamcast version, freethrows are shot using te shoulder buttons, which are pretty easy to softly touch on a dreamcast controller, but how does it work on the ps2 controller? the shoulder buttons are analog, i know that, but they're kinda low, so is it tougher to shoot freethrows?
Is this game better than nba live 2002? One thing I will say about EAS, they were the innovators. But, some of there newer versions have been worse then there older versions. Very annoying.
Yes there is. The gameplay is better than Live 2002, but I think the franchise mode in Live is a little better...
