He started off in the beginning of the season at 82 I think, then they upped him to 85 and I believe at the end of the season his final rating in the game was an 88. I haven't played in a couple of months so my numbers maybe off but that's what I remembered.
Difficult to justify buying sports games when you only get a year to play before the new one comes out. Unless you intend on playing online, pirating makes more sense.
I think I might not be getting this one. I've gotten the newest 2k game for as long as I can remember but I just didn't play 2k13 that much for whatever reason.

http://www.operationsports.com/news/661232/nba-2k14-player-ratings-rose-crawford-porter-curry-burke-chalmers-mccollum/ What do you guys think?
I think Lopez should be higher. That's just me. I think he's a top 5 Center. Also: the gap between LeBron and Durant can't be that big. Alas it's just overall ratings- not a big issue in the grand scheme of things.
2k13 was the first 2k since 2k6 I didn't buy, won't buy 2k14 as well. Don't see any real progression or addressing the main problems of the gameplay, servers, etc. And from what it seemed in the gameplay videos, the only real new thing is blocking dunks. Want Crew mode back, seeing how they teased people with the codes for the last weeks and then revealed it's Blacktop with a leaderboard, disgusting. They also only implemented the 5v5 Blacktop because it was demanded by teamup guys, otherwise this would've been 3v3 Blacktop with a leaderboard, after teasing the community for a month with cryptic messages and saying Crew is back. I lost my trust for 2k at this point and won't buy 2k again unless there are big changes.
LeBron is a solid 99. Great defense, great rebounding, great offense. Let's not forget his shooting improved tremendously this past season. Career marks.
I was playing 2K13 today and I hope they make some major changes to 2K14 because 2K13 is straight up unrealistic man. It's pretty bad.
I have 2k10 and 2k13 on Steam. Other than presentation and a little new things here and there, I see no difference between the two products. Good thing I got these cheap on Steam sales cause I am disappoint.
You won't see huge differences at the tail end of a console's life. Remember these games were built for consoles and ported to PC; not the other way around. We'll see larger differences once the next-gen games start getting ported over to the PC.
Do i have to buy 2k14 in order to play 'online' with current rosters or can i use 2k13? Will it update virtually? I'm hoping so, but if not oh well. I have currently 2kshared rosters for offline play, but i want online current play.
You can only play with updated rosters on 2K14. If you play online in 2K13, then it will only have the rosters from the end of the 2013 season.
