Yes, that's correct. You basically build up your team with trades, signings and now business moves to see if you can keep your job as gm. I read that you can set it to autopilot for finances so you can stick to more playing and managing rosters.
Lol don't be butthurt just because you're a fanboy. The game has had too many problems that are still there for too many years still not fixed. 2k is lucky their is no other great company making great bball games.
I hope NBA Live is good or focuses on the aspects that 2k fails on. That way 2K will be forced to improved. They have no reason to change now. I still buy every year. 2K really needs to fix the random team-up games. The system of randomly choosing teams and positions for people is terrible.
I'm not a fanboy. I just prefer presentation and graphics over gameplay. I'm the counter to every one of those people that say graphics and presentation aren't important and then bring up some 10 year old game with horrible graphics and justify why said game is better. Happens in Madden with everyone raving over NFL 2K5. I hate those people. Same type of people that rave over old-gen games and systems like Atari, N64, etc. I mean if you want to relive the past that's cool, stop stifling innovation in the future thanks. Additionally, I'm extremely envious of Live's ESPN license. I think 2K is an idiot for not grabbing the TNT license.
If your playing with a Euro team do you think they're gonna use generic voices for them if they get interviewed or do you think they won't interview them at all?
I like presentation a lot as well, but if the game play is not there then that weakness the graphics. Its not that we don't want those things, but before they implement new ideas they need to fix the base first. I actually stopped playing 2k13 a couple of months ago because of how annoying it got....and i wasn't even playing online.. Me and my buds would play and it became the most repetitive gameplay ever. Its like they made everything out to be a mathematical basis instead of fluidity. Like depending on the type of contact you got, it would render the effect on the ball the same 1 of 3 ways. Way to predictable and boring.
360 > Xbox One http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1001343501 You get $50 in credit to apply to the the Xbox One version of the game making the purchase only $10.
It doesn't matter if you bought it from elsewhere. It's $26 for 2K14 plus a $25 bonus credit so you get around $50. The bonus credit appears when you're checking out for the Xbox One version of 2K14. GTA isn't on next-gen, that's why you don't see it. You can only trade in GTA for $22.87 currently. http://www.amazon.com/Grand-Theft-Auto-V-Xbox-360/dp/B0050SYILE
I didn't even know that they were holding it back on the current gen and they just jipped us with no updates to mycareer. Now I'm thinking about getting a next gen console...
Here's the IGN review video: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/eybnjY7EdsA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> No offense to the guy, but I hate the 2K voice guy now. I hope you can skip those scenes.
As best as I can tell it's more or less a must buy for graphics alone on next gen. I will be getting it, no question.
2k beats live on both graphics and game play, I'm not sure why I keep hearing that argument that live has the gameply and 2k only has graphics. Now I'll admit I havent played live since 2010 but have they came out with a game since then??
They have one coming out on the 22nd, I believe. Only way I'd get live is if they offered it for $20 like 2K did when it was trying to take over live. No way I pay $60 for this game.
i remember how excited i was watching igns 2k7 review.. looked up that review just now and damn 2k has come a very long way....
