Got it lastnight at Walmart. A lot of people were waiting at Gamestop next door but I didnt preorder. I like it a lot. The Rockets are hard to win with so far. I know its understood so far though.
just got back from playing from my friends house we played 2k and i was playing as the rockets and he said jeremy lamb looks like a player you must play as in 2k
soo the new controls is pretty simple after 2-3 games...I'm loving the game but can someone explain to me when you press up on the dpad what are some of the icons/traits?.. I think JLIN is a floor general or something... but overall 9/10 major upgrade over 2k12 GET 2k13. You won't regret it!
It shows the players signature skills. Closer, 3 point sniper etc. There are a lot more skills than previous 2k games I think.
Im sure you could Google the icons. Kinda pointless I think, as we all know what most of the players do anyway. I do like I can see the stats for whoever I'm controlling. I noticed when I play online against a friend, the scoreboard disappears from the bottom right corner after the 1st quarter. That's really annoying, hopefully they patch that.
I need time to play the comp a couple rounds to get the swing of the controllers. Alley oops are different which is a big thing for me . Also Defense is completely different now since players are slower and jumping is a lot more realistic. Good but I am so used to run and gun style vs my brother.
You can also force a result in online association (declare who will win) and unlock all the games in the season so you can play any user vs user game anytime. Should make association much better.
I am pirating this game on the PC. 2K has been screwing their PC community for years. No custom music, no all-star weekend DLC. They also apparently pushed back the digital download date to two weeks from now and absolutely no store has the PC version. **** them. I will never spend another dime on companies that do everything in their power to screw over their legitimate customers in the name of preventing piracy. This is what CAUSES piracy.
My bro was wondering how you get to play as the Dream Team and go up against the '12 Olympic team. Is there a special mode for it? He said he couldn't find the team in quick play.
Some additional things NBA 2K13 PC doesn't have: No MyTeam. No 3-on-3 MyPlayer Online. No MyPlayer closet. No Virtual Currency. Yup. I am going to pirate this piece of crap. Can't stand 2K anymore. They treat their PC userbase like **** and wonder why everyone is pirating the **** out of their crappy ports.
