Might have to get this and FIFA this year. Good news is between these two my video game needs should be satisfied.
Update #1. Toyota Center doesn't have the new wide screen scoreboard yet. Hopefully it'll update once the season starts. Beautiful game play so far. Extremely realistic. Very smooth
yeah that's a major graphical update. I don't recall anything that major ever being included in any update ever in a sports game
Always do at least a day Anyway enjoy those of you doing the midnight release The AI is relentless Can't just wiggle the stick and score every play Play Noh and watch how Davis drives on you...same with rivers
I'll be "buying" the PC version tonight when I get home, hopefully not too many leac.... hold ups for the downloaded version. Looking at hopefully squeaking in for a midnight release at gamestop tonight since RE6 comes out tomorrow as well.
You guys are happy to pirate a game that will sell for $27 on launch (and likely be half that or less in 6 months)? Geez...no wonder publishers rarely put out sports games on the PC, and when they do, it is a crappy port. edit: 2K12 was $10 (with $5 credit I think) just a couple months after release actually. Don't know if 2K13 will follow.
LOL I buy the console version at retail, so I believe I do more than my share. But its nice to have 1000000% faster load times, no chop or laggy in game play (PC >>>> 360 or ps3). I drop $65 and change on the console version every year to play with friends and online ranked matches. I get the PC version for fun and modding. If you really think I am that bad a person still, then to each their own.
Was going to get the PS3 version like I always do but the new Kinect features for the Xbox version sold me (noooooo). <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/lWSUIdAvfUg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
You're a bad person for paying $65+ on a 2K game every year. Just kidding. The pirating part doesn't really have anything to do with being a bad person. Just saying don't be surprised when the PC ports quit happening*, and/or they put less effort into them (e.g., don't be surprised if the PC port lags behind the upcoming 720/PS4 versions in a few years). Or they start using always-on DRM. When they're asking for as little as $10, it isn't really asking much. Actually shop around for the best deal on the console version, and you could end up using the leftover amount to get the PC version in a few months (when all the mods/patches are ready). Though I do agree that this isn't as bad as straight up pirating the game (i.e., not buying any version of the game). Publishers need to work more on bundling copies of games where the user might want to play them on multiple platforms. Charge $70-$75 or so, and get a PC download key with every console version. Publishers themselves can be blamed for piracy, maybe just as much (or more) as those who pirate their software. edit: * Or this happens:
