Mom & pop stores are the key. Big chains don't do it. Blockbusters used to be the exception. Also people create fake "early release" vouchers in Photoshop.

 

That makes sense. Unfortunately, we only have the 2 stores that sell games

10 Presentation
Unparalleled recreation of the NBA. The Jordan Challenges bring historic moments to life with incredible detail. Pure awesome.

8.5 Graphics
Great animations, it runs smoothly in every mode, and many of the player faces look solid. A definite ding for botching Kobe and a few other stars.


9.0 Sound
The custom commentary for the Jordan games is fantastic. Even regular season games are solid, though there's some repetitive dialogue. The soundtrack is sweet.


9.0 Gameplay
Just about nailed it perfectly. A few bugs and AI blips, plus an overly aggressive defense are the only issues.


10 Lasting Appeal
The Jordan stuff could be a game in itself. Then you get an awesome franchise mode, the slow, but rewarding My Player mode and solid online play.

Dahm, just read over at the 2kforums that some malls in dallas have released the game already.

 

They just sold out over at Katy Mills Mall. PS3 that is, dont know about 360.

 

I am wondering, does anyone know if it will be out on Steam? Somehow I doubt finding a retail PC copy of this game in Nagoya will be easy.

 

This is why competition is good. EA is serving the same game in Madden every year with updated rosters.

My only option would be NBA Live if the NBA accepted EA's offer.

 

Did they finally fix the substitutions? When I played my career in 2K10, the substitution was terrible, in the last minute they just switched between two line ups- and let one line up play for like 10 seconds, and in that line up they had buddinger at PG and Hill at SG and Scola at SF. It was so annoying.

 

I'm sold on this. I haven't bought an NBA game since NBA 2k8 (Or a new sports game at all since Madden 09), but I liked that one a lot. This one looks much better. It looks fantastic in fact.

I'm pretty sure they did. Complaints for this specific problem were numerous and 2K is known to listen to their community.

 

you have to go in person, they wont say over the phone, they could get in trouble.

 

This game is perfect.
