    Hey guys, I'm playing the demo atm and loving it (Definitely buying 2k, this will be my first 2k purchase ever!)


    One thing thats confusing me though, is how do you perform a spin move while maintaining your dribble? I know pressing triangle (I'm using PS3) will allow me to do a spin move but it always picks the dribble up after.

    Out of curiosity also, the 'O' button has been assigned the 'fake pass' on the PS3, I find myself rarely, if ever using this button, does anyone use it much?

    This looks pretty cool, so I played the demo again last night to convince myself to get the game. But the demo is still a piece of crap. If that is what the gameplay is like in the real game, I'll pass. It felt very robotic and not fluid at all.

    This has nearly convinced me to get the game. Awesome trailer. However, I'm hearing the demo is very disappointing. I'll have to play it and decide myself.

    p.s. What's your GT Flash?

    wtf?? As compared to what other game? NBA2K1 has the most fluid animations I've ever seen in a basketball game. I don't agree with you at all.

    Yea he is right ...the demo is crap. However, that was an early build. The retail game is a work of art.

    i tried a local place, didnt have the game yet. I guess only big stores have em at the moment and wont sell it early, just a heads up

    I tried a local store too and the guy there was willing to sell me the game it seemed but they didn't have it in yet. sob

    Place in Richmond? I dealt with a mom & pop in Richmond, TX trying to land NCAA early. Wasn't much fun, never happened.

    If you guys cant wait 5 days for a game that is awesome but will have broken and abused online, I fear for our nations "gimme now, fix later" attitude.

    But on topic, long live 2k! I remember putting up 100 points with Reggie Miller back on NBA 2k for the DreamCast. So awesome!

    Why do you guys keep asking about getting it early? I have never heard of a store selling video games before the release date.

    Happens often. I have gotten NCAA early twice. Never tried with 2k though. Or anything else.
