got it. online sucks though for xbox. every time i go to the lobby and someone invites me it says "Sorry, the game you were requesting to visit is no longer available. pisses the crap outta me. and when i do play i be the rockets, shane sucks, martin can hit jump shots, lowry wont do anything, scola only rebounds and miller only scores. i cant even score the other dude goes 12-0 on me.
LOL... Sorry to tell you bro, but it just sounds like you aren't very good with them yet. Scola and Martin are BEASTS. Shane and Lowry hold more than their own. And Miller... Well, you're right about him.
Technically yes....but not as easily as from the main schedule screen. Instead you have to go into the actual game, load it up, then pause and "Sim to the end of game". Pretty wack, for me at least. If I make the effort to sit through the loading screen I might as well play the game. Btw, my player is a Athletic PG, on the Warriors, drafted in 2nd round but made it to AllStar team and is now in the Western Conference Finals. Plus he got signed to Jordan brand and got a Sports Illustrated Cover and a billboard. Good times. It was a long season, but hopefully it can finish on a high note.
Thats pretty gay... If I don't play 12 minute Quarters then the stats are absolutely horrible, and I don't see myself playing an actual season worth of games, especially with the insane amount of time wasted on replays, and free throws.
I play 5 min quarters, and its not bad. Eventually you become accustomed to the time limit and (at least in my situation) outscore everyone because you know that time is minimal, goals are high, and you never know when coach will sub you out. But eventually I got moved into starting position, and time became less of a factor, although I still get randomly pulled by the coach when I'm like 2 pts/assts/rebs/stls away from a milestone. That's frustrating.
Or when you are down by only 2 points, only to find that the team ends up losing by 15 after they pull you out
That's when you ask for a trade my brotha. Find a team that has a weak starting player in the same position as you and usually you can beat them out to that slot. My old team (new jersey nets) used to do that ALOT and I had moved up in the depth chart to #2 PG behind Devin Harris and ahead of Farmar. But then I asked for a trade and went to Golden State and took over Curry's spot because they really had no backup.
Omg, I just started playing 2K again and what the heck, there are plays now on My player mode???? This sucks, I can barely get the ball now, they better take it off.
Seriously man. Do you think they will ever change it??? I finally started playing this mode and was averaging 33 ppg.
I've given up on My Player mode since the first week of getting this game. On a side note, I just played the Raps and Dorsey was beasting it on offense. Plus Yao gets all the blocks but rarely wins a jump ball.
I'm not sure why I haven't posted here sooner, anyways Drafted by the Orlando Magic two games in, playing maybe 10mins a game, Dwight goes down puts him out 2-4 weeks. Right now we are 4-16, I just started playing 20+ minutes per (playing 10min quarters). I feel like the rockets , but it's long season and all you do is get better 6'8 280lbs SF avg 18, 5, 4
In My Player I was playing on the Pacers...had to demand a trade. Stupid announcers kept saying something like this: 1: Why do you think the Pacers are struggling? 2: Well, like the Rockets...the Pacers have struggled with injury problems.
The patch made this game even more realistic than every now. It's real hard to get dunks in traffic and full court lobs are less accurate after the patch. Our team now has an even bigger advantage now after the patch. Kevin Martin is unstoppable.
Let the play commence, and then get open and then call for the ball. If your teammates like you enough they will scrap you the play and you'll get the ball.
It takes time though, my averages were 33, 5, and 5 on like 62 percent from the field. Those will obviously take a dip.
I've been playing the game in My Player mode for a couple weeks now and I really like it. I'm a PG for the Kings and I've moved into the starting lineup already. I did get really pissed by a couple of things though. First, my team traded Carl Landry for Ben Wallace and Charlie Villanueva. Then, in a game against the Thunder, my coach pulled me from the game at the end of the third quarter with a 25 point lead and didn't put me back in until the lead was entirely gone.
