Why would some get Yao to accept 760k while I and im sure many others had to pay max for him... off topic sortof... if you go to edit player you can change their contract status, i pay Yao 12 mill year 1 12.5 year 2 and 13.5 year 3 with a team option on year 4 for 14.5 million all coming to a total of a 4 year/52.5 deal which i think is reasonable compared to the 6/120 **** he wants

yeah, as soon as he ask for a new contract and wanted max I was like no even if he is my fav player. im giving him 10 mil each year for 5 years with 6th as a player option. NTC as well, that usually makes them happy. 10-12 was realistic to me.
nope. As long as I throw in a bad multi-year contract coming back I can pretty much trade for anyone with a large expiring. Yet, I can't make much more reasonable trades. I wish I was lying. Mid-season Yao said he wanted to do a contract extension. I went to check my roster, apparently 'Sign' appears when you select a player who has requested an extension (I don't think you can extend anyone else). I raised the years 6 and he happliy accepts a deal starting at 760k. Maybe there's something wrong with just my copy?
Man the isomotion controls on PS3 are giving me issues. I feel like a rookie. However I can still call enough plays and use defensive strategy to compensate, but mannnnnnn I need major help on isomotion. And wow Kevin Martin's shot is uselesssssssssssss. Overall love the game though. Love it. Gonna try the My Player mode tonight.
My PF was drafted one pick lower than I wanted - no. 15 by the Bucks, i.e., the first non-lottery pick. Anyway, I have some issues with the game. The canned animations are still very prevalent despite promises that you could break out of them. They killed NBA Live years back and really bring the 2k experience down, imo. Another thing - I can't win a game on All-Star. My first My player was a PG so I thought I was just doing a bad job running the team but no, now that I'm a PF, I still lose every game. Another thing I've noticed - when I simulate the game while on the bench, we seem to fall in a hole against every team. Yeah, it's the Bucks, not exactly a powerhouse, but losing to The Timberwolves or The Knicks is pretty inexcusable. Yet another thing - both times in My Player, Miami is hovering at .500 while Cleveland is leading the east. Realism.

Is this a "rinse and repeat" kind of thing? It'll be sweet if I can go to the edit player option and turn them BACK to a benchwarmer, then go to the morale screen and put them as a starter again... and then repeating the whole cycle? Nobody in my team is happy with the exception of like 2 players who gets to play the majority of the minutes. And I'm something like 22-3 on my season thus far (I cheated and made a "Jontro" player who has a 99 rating from the 3 and he makes it rain all day and night). It'll be cool if I can have all my players delighted. Also I've been trying to get MerGady for chump change and a 2nd round pick to no avail (I play with the 76ers). I just want to get him and put him on a benchwarmer role or send him to the d-league and never use him huahaha.

As long as your connected to the internet, it automatically does it on startup. If you wanna do it afterwards or download custom rosters, you can go to NBA 2K Share in the main menu under one of the sub menus and download them from there.
Just picked up the game yesterday and started my player and got drafted so far and now I'm in the summer workouts. Yet to actually play a game with the Rockets or anything. I enjoy the my player stuff a lot more haha... BTW my gamer name is xxStackxx if anyone would like to add me to get some games on. Thanks
