NBA 2k11

I created a new player. This time, I chose athletic instead of scoring....BIG difference. For those of you struggling, I recommend using athletic. I used all the drills on shooting, and used my SP to boost my shooting stats. I'm now a 6"5 PG drafted by the Celtics #19 overall.

 

I usually choose All-Around and make my SG 6"7' or so, it helps him dunk without having to reach 70 on the dunk meter.

Last year when you finished up the summer circuit they gave a list of teams that were interested and you picked whatever team you like best out of the options. Is it not like that anymore?

I haven't been able to start My Player cause I have one hour every day to finish the Jordan Challanges. Hopefully this weekend I can set aside some time to finish it up.

 

7-4 is alright. I ended up in memphis and we're 0-2. Im starting to hate the guy I created. Might start a new one soon.

Just played online...first time ever and ironically I got randomly player locked on the rockets as Yao. Online play does suck, bunch of babies on there. I was doing great with Yao, was up by 18 and one by one the opposing online players left the game. jerks

 

drafted by the pistons. battling tmac for back up sf minutes. should be a cake walk.

 

So is MJ, mid-range-long range-short range...... bench range.

All over the guy is, dolla dolla bills ya'll.

 

Hall Of Fame just doesn't feel right... I don't want to shoot 52% and lose by 15-20...

 

Im new to 2k. When the roster update comes out, how/where do you perform the update? Also, will it change any player ratings or is it just moving and adding people?

 

yea it's ridiculous, is there going to be a fix or this is how it is h2k? the other team can't miss even with good defense

 

There is a fix. You have to download the "switch to a different difficulty" patch.

 

Are you in myplayer mode on HOF?

I find that the games are the best If you play in a controlled fashion on pro... Changing the difficulty level just doesn't make the game feel like it should, imo. The flow just isn't the same.

I could drop 50+ a game with Jamal Mashburn If I really wanted to, but I just try to play sim as much as possible, and the outcomes have been pretty different... 8-4 with the Nets...

I am on my 17th game, btw. How far are you guys?

Do any cool features come later? Will my team ever make any trades?

 

Wait... What? Difficulty shouldn't = losing when you shoot damn 55% from the field as a team. It should be tighter D, better ball control perhaps. As far as I am concerned NBA 2K myplayer mode still needs sliders If you play as a big scorer...

 

I am baffled... does anybody else have the frequent freezing after a my player game in my player mode?

The same problem from last year came back this year... astounding...

 

I'm planning to buy the game after my uni course is over. Can someone tell me if the Jordan team can play current day teams? or is it restricted to playing the great teams of his era in Jordan mode? Also are these old school teams playable? thanks.

you're an idiot, and anywho I was talking about my player mode. I'm playing good with my guy and play within the flow of the game. Getting a+ but losing basically every game with Orlando Magics, think we're like 3-16 now

 

once you complete the jordan challange you can play as jordan on any current nba team.
