Percentages realistically go down, unlike the kids game, NBA Live... Live is so damn bad, it is near unplayable, It makes Wayne Brady want to choke a b****. So bad that the lead designer had to leave to go back to 2k. EA sports does not get it done... But they suck in some kids to pay the bills... Are you the type of guy to play with Lebron and the Cavs, while someone whoops your ass with the Nets? Yup, Live sounds about right...
I like 2k10 more, but it does try hard to be realistic. I want less simulation and more control. I want some of my contested jumpers to go in (like in the league). You play the game a few times and it feels repetitive. If there is an issue like goal tending, it seems to be one that you can't fix by changing the settings.
Nah I'm usually usin random teams. I played with the Cavaliers cause i got em in my league. It's not realistic that most of the jump shot animations are so slow that you can easily get blocked with the defender jumpin for the block from like 2m away, it's impossible to play a good midrange game. And talkin about someone whoopin my ass with Terrence Williams dunkin over Lebron, Shaq, Varejao, Moon, etc. You say that's common in 2k10, so you destryoin the "sim experience". statement. It's obvious you never played Live 10 online, otherwise you wouldn't say that fanboyish garbage. The whole 2K community realized 2k10 is a COMPLETE MESS online, go to the official forums and read what people have to say.
You're acting like 2K isn't 'arcady', and is great at sim ball. Besides, 2K lags graphically and in presentation. Neither game has been fantastic, IMO. I only rent them and mostly play the NHL series.
I recently bought 2k10 and I like the game but do they upload the roster now that there have been trades and all?
no they stop with the updates after the season is over until the next game. you can however download rosters updates created by other people online. it's called 2k Share. do a search for Rashidi 2k10 and find his blog. on 2k Share he has the best most realistic ratings, up-to-date trades, tendencies, coach sliders, new players, etc. I already downloaded his latest roster with all the trades and new players e.g. Tiago Splitter is on there along with the draftees like our own Patrick Patterson.
I have an excellent connection, and I could never get a single online pick-up game to connect. Regular games worked fine online, but never the pick-ups.
