Nah, I've owned every copy since 2K5 (yeah I'm a sucker) but I've noticed every odd numbered 2K has the most changes and updates while the even numbers are just lazy continuations of the previous years (cough cough madden)
I am tired that every single year the marketing blurb for these basketball games goes something like this -More realistic than ever -Real player motion capture -Signature shots! Players shoot how they in real life. -Enhanced Post Moves -Enhanced Defensive System.. etc etc Every year they sell you on some super hyped up feature and in reality its just more of the same and most of the changes are minimal .. they should sell these games for 20 bucks like what 2k did a few years back.
So youre saying Elite will be "MORE INNOVATIVE!!!!!!" this year...but what I really see with that statement is "EA WILL ALMOST COME CLOSE TO MATCHING FEATURES ALREADY IN 2k SINCE 2K6!!!" Elite will be garbage because its still arcady and playing catch up to the big boy of sim bball.
2k9 and 2k10 online gameplay has major framerate issues, and I don't intend to get 2k11 until the reviews are out and reading the forums on 2k sports. 2k10 has too many bugs and issues that I didn't touch it after I bought it. Hopefully 2k11 will have less, but I highly doubt it with all the new things 2k has put into it. Should wait 6 months after the game is out for the 1st or 2nd patch to update the game.
What type of problems have you ran into? Everytime I finish my 1st season under My Player mode the screen ends up freezing when I try and Play Now for the start of training camp and I have to start over a new season.... Anyone else had that problem?
For those of you who had 2k10 - did you apply the patches? Game seems fine to me after the patches. Granted it was a little glitchy before then and clearly they had rushed into production without serious testing but considering how solid the game has been up until this point, I'm willing to overlook a few inconveniences for a more realistic game experience. Live wasn't up to snuff and frankly EA needs to really put some time and effort into trumping 2k because right now even with the glitches, they are the team to beat. ....by the way, the Jordan addition is freaking great. I love that in what was suppose to be Lebron's year, MJ will be on the cover of the most popular NBA game.
I hope 2k11 play the same like 2k7 because i am the KING of 2k7...and I pretty much beat everyone i came across. So if they go back to the easy control responsiveness of 2k7 as they claimed they will w/ 2k11...it's going to be awesome. And i am looking forward to beating everyone of you online with the Rockets. I think break animations is the problem in previous games. It just locked you into this slow animated process...making the game unresponsive to button commands.
Its boozer and looks like lebron is on that cavs team too maybe it was the cavs team from his rookie year they put in the game
The guy at the free throw line looks like Dwight Howard to me. I didn't even notice Boozer dunking it. This must be association mode???
What´s "sim" about not bein able to shoot jumpers when bein close to the defender or gettin destroyed online by people only usin spin-moves and layups/dunks with superstars. I lost to the Nets, Lebron defended Terrence Williams, who made 23/24 fg's only with dunks over shaq/lebron/moon, etc. HOW REALISTIC IS THAT??? 2K´s servers are total garbage and most people play more online than offline. Talking about features, 2k desn´t have real physics, instead is full of automatic animations that you don´t have control over. Elite´s dribbling system is also way more creative, so what you talkin bout? I´ve been playin 2k6-2k10, you fanboys have to realize the series went downwards for the last two years. Play one match of Live 10 online and you won´t switch back.
