POsting up isnt all about backing people down. That said, Kevin Garnett could post up Micahel Finley till hell freezes over with no problem at all. KG is just the superior player, down low and possibly even outside. This matchup, IMO is the one that is the most lopsided. So far, you sem to be the only one who has confidence in Michael Finley.

Anyways, I think the same reasons you said about Stephon MArbury apply to the Francis/Shaq argument. And you gotta remember, Webber, like KG, is one of the quickest big men out there. Shaq, however, is certainly not. That is why I htink Francis would win. PLus, Stevie plays this kinda 1 on 1 bball extremely well, certainly as evidenced by his play over the summer.

Sort of, but not really. At this point in time, Marbury is better than Steve. Sure, Steve will improve, but Marbury is a much better scorer at this point in his career, which is what really counts with these one-on-one games. That's part of the reason why I think Marbury would win, and Steve would lose.

Seriously though, how are any of the guards supposed to stop the big fellas from scoring?

How are the big men like Shaq with zero dribbling skills going to be able to get it down within 5 feet of the basket like they need it? The guards will strip it from them in a heartbeat.
