That being the case, you should enjoy the Hell on Earth you've created, and I'd hope you burn in eternal Hell for you decision to take judgement and punishment upon yourself.
When I talk to my German co-workers regarding the rise of Hitler and how the people could let Nazi run their lives, it's amazing how the circumstances can so easily be replicated in today's America. Especially given how 9/11 changed the way Americans think. I'm not sure what the Nazis did to people who refuse to commit atrocities, but I was told that young men who refused to join the army went to the camps. So there was definitely pressure to take part. That said, it's possible this guy is just a horrible human being in general. But if statute of limitations hasn't run out yet, there's no reason why he should not be brought to trial at whichever court deals with such issues. Even if he is 94.
You mean like this Nazi dude the article is talking about and people are saying should be prosecuted? Samsung and Kia need to hurry up and crumble Japan's economy already.
And he's some dude in the middle of nowhere, not a person in actual power. Seriously, if you and others want to make this into another whine about Japan thread, go ahead, but at least just use wrong facts as opposed to blatantly speculating about mythical war criminals still serving in the Diet today.
Lighten up Francis. The guy commanded a unit that indiscriminately killed women, children, and other innocents. Hell yes I will judge. However, I have no individual capacity to impose justice.
So you chide him endlessly for judging, and then you turn around and judge him? Hoping he burns in hell for his judgment is, in fact, a judgment against him. You should strive to avoid such hypocrisy.
No one knows if there even is a hell, but I am sure his conscience has bugged him for deacades. Deport and prosecute, imo DD
I like how discussions about WW2 history is considered "whining". We know you're real proud about Japan's "achievements" during that time as you've blatantly shown time and time again, but labeling people whiners seems a bit low even for you.
Not surprising. Local news is reporting his family is vehemently denying the allegations against him. http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/video/8996741-family-of-nazi-commander-speaks-out-against-allegations/
The people in charge of the various Japanese live human experiment (eg removing various organs from live humans to see how long they can live, testing various bio & chemical warfare experiments on neighboring cities & towns, etc etc) & biological warfare units were granted immunity by the US in exchange for the data they collected.
