even though it was pretty obvious he was going to LSU once he said 65-35, i still don't get why he kept reaffirming his commitment here. it makes no sense unless you're a low class POS. lots of people change commits, he could've done that. lots of people decommit and wait to decide. he could've done that. but he just kep reaffirming his commit.

unless someone else blows me away, i'm going to UT.

write it down, i'm going to Texas.

those are just rumors, i'm going to Texas, etc, etc.

being 18 doesn't excuse lack of class or any semblance of integrity. and that thing keeley posted. i thought he had to be kidding, but there it was in the article. i really wanted RP and would've loved if he signed with us, but damn, after that quote, maybe we really are better off without him.

and what's the deal with going 11-1 and winning the rose bowl and it killing your recruiting? we got 11-1 and win our bowl, lsu doesn't and loses it's bowl, and they change coaches, and they change coaches to a guy mack has completely owned 7 years running. and we lose out. plus, even though our QB is better, they had a fresman starting qb and we had a sophomore.

i can only hope he sits on the bench as a backup for 3 years, and then in his first start he snaps his leg in half and never plays football again.

Doesn't excuse it, but can help explain it. Also discounts it; generally 18 year olds are permitted more mistakes and faults. Still just kids.

    That's a bit harsh.

He has his own website, www.ryan11.com.

You can even listen to his music playlist. And he has an email address...ryan11@ryan11.com.

Just in case anyone was interested. ;)

I'd give my left nut to get a full ride at almost any major D1 university. Athletes aren't dealt a bad hand to start with. Any skill position athlete can get as much ass as they want at any school.

Don't think RP screwed over UT, they'll use the ship for someone else.

As for UT vs OU, I think the average stars per commit is close; UT happens to only have 15 recruits versus OU's 27. Still, I think this is Mack's worst class yet.
