National Day of Prayer is on, despite court ruling

I declared we need a National Day for Atheist! Watch the religious freaks start condemning it.

 

I think these are fun abstract arguments...but the reality is...when you have 80% of a population calling themselves Christian, I'm thinking the one major holiday those folks celebrate collectively that potentially falls on a weekday is probably worth granting a day off for. Not because you're making a great statement about the truth of the events celebrated that day...but simply because it's a collossal pain in the ass, otherwise.
