It was terrorism in that case because the motive was to further a political agenda.

If only the terrorist on 9/11 gave everyone a 15 minute countdown to vacate the premises. Or the hundreds of other terroristic events around the globe who's only intent was to kill people.

The English language which has the largest vocabulary... and people like to water everything down into a few catch all phrases like terrorist and racist.

So you don't believe the business owners with piled on debts and no relief in sight could of cased out the activity of the area which would be at minimum at best due to the pandemic if not shut down for weeks to months already. This guy could of been a close friend or family with a terminal illness with nothing to lose in terms of self sacrifice. Desperation on the business end:

I think we had these terrorism vs "not terrorism but still bad" back during the Obama years when "work place violence" was used to explain motive for some attacks instead of terrorism and the right went nuts. Don't flip now.

and that doesn't make him not a terrorist.. he still used terroristic means.

you really are for everyone to start blowing RVs or half a city block up because they or someone got bankrupt?

As a grammar nazi...it's could have not could of.

Regardless of intent...it is a terroristic act. Gee...I want to collect some insurance for my friend with a terminal illness, therefore I will blow up an RV on a city street not knowing whether or not I will kill or injure other people. And, since I am doing it for "a good cause", people won't call me a terrorist.

Using that line of reasoning the 9/11 terrorists weren't terrorists because in their mind they were acting for a good cause.

There's no romanticizing but determining the true intent or motive as these bombed out business owners will be collecting a healthy payday insurance payout when none's the wiser.

yeah he sacrificed himself to make the poor business owners richer right? is this the ending you are wishing for?

I mean you just imagined all this up right or is there evidence that he is indeed connected to those businesses?

So...this scam is so obvious to someone like you, but the FBI and other law enforcement agencies are "none the wiser"

Im saying we so far don’t have a firm idea as to what his motive is and we shouldn’t apply labels until we do.

Do you have ANY evidence of this? Or is this just your random theory?

Also, do you know how business disruption insurance works? If they weren't generating much in revenues due to the pandemic, they aren't going to get some massive payout out of it.

    https://nypost.com/2020/12/28/nashville-bomber-thought-hed-be-a-hero-for-attacking-att-report/

Nashville RV bomber Anthony Quinn Warner was “heavily into conspiracy theories” about 5G networks — and thought he’d be “hailed a hero” for targeting a huge AT&T network, according to a report.

The 63-year-old loner — who died in his massive Christmas Day suicide blast — may have turned against the telecommunications industry after the 2011 death of his father, who worked for a company that later merged with AT&T, a source close to the investigation told the Daily Mail.

He was believed to be “heavily into conspiracy theories,” especially over fears that 5G networks were killing people, the source said.

“The unofficial motive thus far is the suspect believed 5G was the root of all deaths in the region and he’d be hailed a hero,” the source told the outlet.

“We are waiting on the digital footprint that should finally provide us with some answers,” the source explained following a raid of Warner’s home in Antioch, a suburb of Nashville.

    ...

Nashville Mayor John Cooper said Sunday the bombing appeared to be an “infrastructure attack” targeting the AT&T building.
