A Jeff sighting, at a remove, you might say. Thanks for showing that. I think it's sad that we never see him post here. If he does post on occasion, I've been missing them. Maybe @Jeff got sick of Fatty. Understandable, if that's what happened. Still, if that played a role, he should have just put Fatty on ignore. Probably something else entirely.

At least we know that he's still into those Rockets.

It had nothing to do with me. He basically said he outgrew it, and pretty much talked poorly about his time here. If I had to guess I think he had a falling out with Clutch.

NASA has added an extra safety precaution. Nobody has anything to worry about. In addition to manual override in the event of an emergency, they have no added a computer override to the manual override. "You can never be too safe," said the Weyland Corporation. "Once contracted, we took very precaution possible for today's launch and for something of this magnitude."

The Space Shuttle announced today it is coming out of retirement, putting an asterisk on all Space X launches.

Strange that Florida weather in the afternoon during late spring would be uncooperative.

FYI, The Weather Channel, the Science Channel, and Discovery Channel are also covering this. Here, again, is the live webcast from NASA :
