I saw this movie over the weekend. I thought it had it's funny moments. It was trying too hard to be a low-budget version of Rushmore but without the story and deep characters to tie it together. There were some funny scenes but the story didn't carry very well and they should've edited the 'wedding scene' into the movie, it would've made it a little more cohesive. I thought the uncle who was living in his past was pretty funny as well as Napolean's brother's chat room/technology addiction. Overall it was a pretty silly movie. Enjoyable but not a comedic masterpiece.
Let's bring this thead back on track... My sister REALLY wants to see this movie this weekend and says I should come along... So... yea or nay fellas? Based on the one commercial I've seen, I'm inclined towards nay.
i haven't seen it...but for the most part - an evening at the movies is make or break depending on who you see it with - it's just fun to hang out with your sis, no? go for it...and then tell me if it's worth seeing.
By far the funniest movie of the year. Ranks in my top 5 funny movies of all time I've already seen it twice, its that good. The Pedro character had me in stiches the whole movie.
Actually, I prefer going to movies alone. Sadly, we have different tastes in movies, so if she loves it, I will probably hate it (and vice versa)
Same here, i like to go the movies alone these days. I once went out with a girl, and we could never agree on the movie. So we just decided to go see our individual movie by ourself. We would go the theatre together and then split up, then meet up when it as over. i think that is the best decision i have ever made. I now can't watch movies with someone I know. An added bonus is we didnt have to discuss the movie as i despise this concept. One more positive going solo to the movies is you dont have your friends bothering you every 5 minutes asking whats going on.
NBAHOU ---I take the same path as mr. OSKI by putting a ****ing loser like you on my IGNORE list. I hope you go to hell.
People put all kinds of stuff in threads .. Conversations naturally move in different directions you know. Weren't you banned already under a different name? I [hope]/[forsee] another in your future
Not to get in the middle of the flamewar, but did you know that this movie was written and directed by a couple of Mormons? Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm just wondering how it affected the script. Obviously, the dick and fart jokes are out.
