He still kind of looks like a dork in real life. He's supposed to be 26 years old and married though.

I'll put these in the category of Ace Ventura and Dave Chapelle. MAYBE, just MAYBE, at one time this material could have been funny; however, when every person on this green earth that I dislike thinks it funny to constantly say "GIRLS LIKE GUYS WITH SKILLSS!!!!@!!@" it is not funny.

Also, please dont tell me crap like "If you don't "get" it, you're looking too hard. Not every movie has some spectacular plot. blah blah blah "
or "some people dont get dry humor"

I get dry humor. I in fact practice the use of it often. This movie was just plain terrible and no amount of r****ded quotes can make it otherwise.

The overuse of his jokes by ****ty people does indeed make it less funny.

I'd agree. My feeling is that the movie was written and made well, but it was not made to be aesthetically pleasing. So, while I can appreciate the skill in making it, I can't exactly enjoy the end product, which was a mix of unpleasant and annoying. That combination leaves me with a rather ambivalent feeling -- I'm glad I saw it but you'd have to pay me to get me to watch it again. It reminded me a lot of Confederacy of Dunces which was likewise well-written but with very annoying characters. Reading that was a combination of laughing my ass off and gritting my teeth.

I still don't get how any rational human can find this movie funny at all.

I don't know him personally, but we share several mutual friends, including my best friend in Utah, who dormed with him freshman year.

By all accounts he's incredibly UN-dorky, but hillariously ironic at all times.

At points I was highly amused, at others I wanted to blow my brains out.

The funny parts were the ones that reminded me of my high school.

Well, that's cool to know. I mean, I'm not saying I thought he was a dork. BTW, he choreographed the dance sequence himself.

The movie was cool. It was good but not extrordinary. I like the fact the lead wasn't a coiffed, slick, perfect, hero type. He was someone kind of unlikable who whined frequently. Yet he was very realistic. That is the great thing about that character.

The older brother was a little too over the top and became kind of a characterture, and that was really the main fault with the movie. It didn't have a giant production value and wasn't as slick as what some people are used to, but it was a good movie.

Eh, it's all subjective really. I personally happen to despise Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
