Nancy Pelosi Announces She Will not Seek Re-Election to Dem Leadership

Strategically it is a great decision to hand over leadership to new blood. Especially after the mid terms showed a 14% advantage with younger voters. You gotta read the room in politics and glad Pelosi is smart enough to see that.

Doesn't mean young people aren't still going to vote for Grandpa Biden though. Look at Bernie's appeal with young voters. You don't necessarily have to be young to appeal to the youth, but you do need to have good instincts, and you need to surround Grandpa or Grandma with people that look and talk like the voting base you are appealing to.

I've seen alot of good things out of Hakeem Jefferies thus far, and seems like the right kind of personality to hold the caucuses together.

Thank you for your service Nancy. She reminds me of a comment my friend's dad made to my friend when his mom was telling him he's an idiot, and needs to get a job. "Your mom's a b$tch but she's right." I always felt like Pelosi was just one of those women from that generation who pissed off alot of insecure men, but she's not going to lie to you. She's going to tell you how it is.

 

Makes sense for her. Dems will likely be the minority party until in the House until at least 2026. She has no reason to sit around waiting for 4 years at her age.
