Basketball goes much deeper than names on a paper. That does sound like a good team but they may or may not be a good fit. Best case scenario, the Rockets make the playoffs as a lower seed. Matter of fact, i think in general they may be a decent team but far from a contender.
This years Rockets beat full strength Bucks, Celtics and 76ers teams (and the Nuggets as well, though in tank time).
Defense looks weak in this lineup. Johnson has been playing 4 since he can’t defend speedier 3’s. He is laterally slow. Not good rebounder. He isn’t a starter in my opinion. The team needs another vet scorer at the 1 or 3. Not sure if Harden is the answer here.

Cam Johnson is a good role player and is going to get overpaid. Wemby will be a good help defender and a mediocre offensive player until he develops a 36% or better 3 pointer. I think he and Chet will have a few scattered productive years that will get everyone excited but neither will reach superstar level. I would rather draft Scoot.
Harden experimented with CP3, Westbrook, Howard, Durant, Kyrie, and now Embiid and they all failed to reach the NBA finals with Harden. Do you really think this time it could be different with a bunch of 20 yr olds? The common denominator here is Harden. With the ball, he excels in the regular season, and without the ball fails miserably in the regular season and the playoffs. Simply NO to Harden, please!
