    Yes.

If you know blues musicians, then The Blues Brothers qualifies. Just that not everybody on this BBS has heard of John Lee Hooker.

War movies tend to have huge casts.

especially ones referd to as "casts of thousands" movies like sparticus and cleopatra.

I know a thin red line had a lot of famous people doing cameos, but since i hated that movie I will let one of you figure out how many. also the upcoming "perl Harbour" has a large cast. also check "Ghandi" and "Ishtar"

me, I will be sleeping as this thread rages on

#4 is American Graffiti, is it not?

#7 is Mars Attacks! (which is my younger son's favorite movie, which just goes to show that I must've accidently warped him somehow).

Back to Dr. of Dunk's post, while Buddy Ebsen was slated to play the Tin Woodsman in the Wizard of Oz at one point (after trading roles with Ray Bolger. Ebsen was originally slated to play the Scarecrow), he didn't actually play the part (the way you phrased your post kind of implied to me that he actually played the part in the finished movie). Ebsen got sick because of the make up they used for the Tin Woodsman character and was replaced by Jack Haley. Ebsen's voice can still be heard on the recording of "Off to See the Wizard".

Wish I knew because he is missed on this BBS.
There is a fine line between knowledgeable and being pompous and he knows where the line is.

    Movie #9

    Dom DeLuise
    Madeline Kahn
    Harvey Korman
    Cloris Leachman
    Ron Carey
    Gregory Hines
    Sid Caesar
    Sammy Shore
    Charlie Callas
    Paul Mazursky
    Henny Youngman
    Barry Levinson
    Hugh Hefner
    Pat McCormick
    Jack Carter
    Jackie Mason
    Baetrice Arthur

I left out an actor because his name would make it too easy to guess the movie.

Considering that the actress who played the Wicked Witch of the West didn't die until 1985, I would venture to guess that she wasn't killed by paint or makeup from the Wizard of Oz.

She was apparently burned by some of the special effects at one point in the filming of the Wizard of Oz and was off the set for about a month while she healed.
