The music is rock but with leanings toward pop and singer/songwriter. Influences are all over the map as with most bands, but a few that would be applicable: the Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Duncan Sheik, Jason Mraz, Sting. You might also be able to include stuff like Blue Rodeo, the Rembrants and Del Amitri in there. We are making a BIG master list to take to everyone so keep them coming.
We are doing an acoustic set - just the singer, myself and the guitarist - on March 6 at Rudyard's opening for another band I play in called Slap Shifter (funky rock stuff). We probably won't get out and play as a full band until late March or early April. We just brought in a permanent drummer and need time to get some chemistry together. We'll probably open for a few people first and then get out on our own by the summer.
