Part of this is due to a lack of a running game. Every TD basically has to involve him because there is no real running option - that makes him less efficient because he's asked to do more. The turnovers are nonsense - he was 23rd in the league in INTs last year while being 11th in pass attempts. Of the 10 QBs above him, only Manning, Bress and Brady had a better int/pass ratio.

He still doesn't have a running game, or one where teams game plan to stop. Richardson has been extremely disappointing. Bradshaw has been good but he's no longer a back you give 15+ reps to and sustain the run. Even v. the Jags, they threw 39 times v. run 29 times.

I still think we will see Andrew take that leap this year. If they can improve their running game, he will be scary. I really like what I'm seeing from him this year.

Agreed - their O-Line and/or RBs still suck and will be a problem. I agree with you on Luck - he's well past the "good" stage and routinely carries his team in games. His efficiency will be lower as a result, but Luck does things other "good" QBs can't do.

It's a long season but I agree Luck is on track this year to move to the next level.

Unfortunately for him, I doubt the Colts are ready to move with him.

Broncos/Packers run games. Bouncing back? Or DOA?

    * Teddy Bridgewater makes the Vikings competitive.

    * QBs are slightly overpaid, as great as Peyton, Rodgers, Brady, and Brees...they cannot play defense; make up for a running game; and MAKE RECEIVERS GREAT.

    * Cincinnati has legitimate shot at the Super Bowl with that defense and a #1 seed.

    * Arizona may be the team to dethrone Seattle.

    * Philadelphia will be one and done, again in the playoffs.

On QB's, you can win playoff games with just a QB alone. It's hard not to justify the cost of the elite ones. And it's not like Manning is hampering Denver right now, they just signed Sanders, Ware, Talib, Ward, etc... Denver's problem with Seattle is the inability to establish the run and not being able to stretch the field due to Manning's weak arm. The run game problems likely a direct result of Manning not being able to challenge Seattle deep. GB gave Rodgers & Mathews huge deals, that combination of contracts is scary.

On Bridgewater, there's a new phenomenon in the NFL where new QB's come in and have success right away. The opponent gets film, and 2-3 weeks later that QB struggles. It doesn't mean Bridgewater wont be good. But I'd be surprised if a rookie drafted that late can have more success than Cassell, especially without Peterson to lean on.

On the Eagles, they have nothing left on the o-line or at linebacker so the fact they're even winning is a pretty big statement. But I agree, if they don't find a new redzone strategy they wont get far.

The thing he still struggles with every game is getting rid of the ball quicker, and thus needing to make quicker decisions. Peyton Manning more often than not negates any pass rush b/c he gets rid of the ball so quick. That's something that Luck needs to master pretty soon.

Another good example is Philip Rivers, whose O line has looked terrible this year.

+1. Phillip Rivers has truly been elite so far this year and last year. Phenomenal QB. Hopefully his team wins games this year so he can get more pub.

The things we were 99.9% sure about after Week 2 is amusing. Just from page 1, the Colts terrible. Romo is declining. Brady is done. Houston will beat the Giants. The AFC South will be close. Kaepernick and Foles are better than Luck.

The OP got his prediction right, though - Trent Richardson sucked enough to get deactivated today.
