Come on, fellas. The lack of D is a liability I'm sure... but no matter how bad it is, there's no reason he shouldn't get more minutes than he currently does?

The lack of minutes for Boki is a mystery to me. I mean, didn't Dan Langhi get more minutes last year than Boki has this year? And Boki certainly looks like a better player from everything we've heard.

I am looking forward to his coming-out party. Will I live long enough?

I think Boki never played with Yao in a game. He should be the player who benefit most from Yao's passing.

Boki plays no D? C'mon, y'all gotta be kiddin' me. Which of our perimeter plays can play D? They get PT all the same, even when they're shooting 1-12.

zone D helps those players who are a bad defender a lot..... as long as u are willing to run around and put a hand in the shooters face, it is considered good D.....

certainly with Boki's shooting ability, he can help Yao Ming a lot..... double team will benefit Boki since he will be open and as everyone knows, he can knock down those open shots...... and when he start stroking, double team will come less for Yao and it will be easier for him to post.........

Well, Boki plays the 3. As does Posey and Morris, who are both good defenders. Morris has also shown a nice offensive game this season as well.

So really, I don't see a reason we should play Nachbar unless we're giving up the season.

It's silly to try and work him in right now because we really can't afford to lose one or 2 games because of his inexperience.

But what I'm saying is, if he can hit the 3's in a real game, it opens LOTS of doors for him, AND for us.

    Hey!

Moochie finished second so he should get more playing time too!!!!

    Maybe at SG?!?!?!?

    Right...

Note: I'm not comparing Moochie and Boki, but I am saying a 3 point competition is meaningless, anyone remember Craig Hodges?

Please stop insulting Stevie Franchise - He is presently carrying our team all by himself. His D will come later but his 22ppg-6rpg-6-apg is fine with me even if his D is horrible.

That lil piece from the chron does nothing but tease those who wants to see Boki play in some real significant minutes.

    I agree...

Bokie s/b out there getting his minutes. He need more game playing time than just the sorry azz cleanup work he does on occassion...

I'm not surprised by the CAT, but am surprised at Moochie...

He needs to do that when it's game time...

Rudy also limited Boki's shot. Something like, "good stroke, but not at Peja's level."

The big difference between shootaround and live action is very often how quick their release is or how high. (Notice how high and quick Rice's release is, and how quick Peja's is.) The other criteria is can they shoot off of either foot like Wally and Peja...leaning left/right ect.

The best example is Matt Bullard. Everyone knows he can shoot, but Matt had the slowest release in the game (and a low release to boot), and he even leaned in towards the basket. Thus, Matt was purely a wide-open shooter in live action. If Boki is more towards the Matt side of things than the Rice/Peja side of things, then that's not necessarily good enough to play if your defense is also very weak.

dan majerle played great defense early in his career until he felt inlove with shooting 3s. thunder dan was tremendous holding quicker guys with his hands, which now is illegal. anyway, nachbar is not dan majerle; you can't compare a non defender to a good defender.

    AHHAHAHAHA.

MOOCHIE cannot shoot?!?!?! Well he can't shoot in games.

He and Nachbar are better than our "shooters".

    Why didn't they invite MORRIS?!?

well....we wont know how Boki is with his release and how his shot is changed with in a game. We have not really seen much of him. I really wish that we would see Boki in a few games. I mean, we have seen more time of Collier...because Cato was injured...but still.

Some of our players are playing like they are/should be injured. Boki should be given a chance. I remember the praise going towards him, and how good our draft picks this year was, with Boki and yao, and then TITo to boot!.....So what happened to it all? Where is Boki?!!

--HP, Does Boki have a slow release? I have not seen enough of him to make a judgment on that.

That is perfect except that Dan Marlie could play some sticky D. The bombing from outside mixed with the flying slams! That makes me want to see more Boki.

I really think that Nachbar is a pure shooter and can play D!
