I noticed I'm always responding to your posts. I'm sorry if it looks like I'm creeping, but your posts are so ignorant they always get on my nerve.

Brooks won the award last year. He certainly didn't play like the MIP this year, why should he get the MIP treatment this year then? At some point your present performance has got to be worth more than your past...esp. when the team starts losing game after game because you get 20 minutes of PT while junking up the O and being a stiff on D.

Secondly stats have shown both the offense and defense performed better with Battier. As Cxbby already said, Battier wasn't the problem (and you can look at the Battier trade as one of Morey's misses), Brooks was. It just that trading Brooks and replacing his mins with Lee and the Dragon had such a great positive impact it overshadowed the negative impact of replacing Battier with Chase full time. You can see it in Memphis, Battier has been great for them, just like he was great for us. The stats have always been consistent with that, not sure where you got the idea the "moreyites" as you call it were saying Battier was crap.

The Lakers used the "We're the ******* Lakers and we can get anyone and we have Kobe" strategy. This is not easy to replicate.

The Mavs and Spurs, meanwhile have been teams that very much use a statistical orientation. I mean, I love that the Spurs getting Parker and Manu was just dumb luck according to you while Dallas, for example, argued that the stats showed that the Harris-Kidd swap was a good move for them. Everyone laughed at them at the time, but it seems that they've laughed last after all.

Just curious why it has to be an ex-NBA player doing it for you, when we have plenty of examples that show that NBA players make really, really bad GMs ( McHale, Jordan, Bird, Isiah). And how's Pritchard been doing getting another GM gig these days?

I can't answer this question really until we know what our roster will be in November, as it'll be clear what the objectives of the team will be from that point. For example, I'd argue that last year's objective was to gamble on Yao one last time, as while the odds were bad, it was without doubt the route that had the highest reward. It failed, but it was one that had to be taken.

Your credibility has been pretty much shot in this one thread, constantly defending AB and Chase, two of the worst players to put on a Rockets uniform this year.

    Even DD knows better lmao.

And lol @ the guy saying SA got LUCKY with Manu and Parker. They got them because they were ahead of the game when it comes to analytics geniuses, lol.
