But what about the "it" factor? Whatever it is Kobe Bryant is the best at the "it" factor, as you can see from the table below. Kevin Durant also has some of "it" but not as much as Kobe.

    "It" factor

    Lebron Kobe Durant Carmelo Wade
    0.91 -- 1.42 -- 1.16 -- 0.88 -- 0.97

League average of "it" factor I believe is around 0.91

Strangely enough, those are their exact "what what in the butt" factors too.

Wade's "it" factor during his championship run was through the roof. Not sure if he can still carry a team like that but if he can he should be higher up.

That looks a lot more like "bull**it" factor to me.

I think this stems from the MJ era. Kobe has won all these championships and people just can't accept the fact that it's the best team that wins the championship, not necessarily the best player. So Kobe is given credit for some "intangibles" or "clutchness" that somehow lift him above everyone else because a lot of people don't want to admit that basketball is, in fact, a team sport.

For a few years, Kobe arguably was the best player in the league. He had crap teammates at the time and we saw how far that got him. Now, he's only in the conversation for best player because of his reputation.
