I don't think it was a plane mainly giving our tracking abilities for this mode of transportation. I mean if it was a plane one would think they would/should have been able to identify it by now. You would think it would be fairly easy given the plane's transponder and the logistics info it gives off. They have the time it was spotted and the general location and direction and possibly enough info off the videos out there to make a guesstimation at the altitude it was traveling to make the ID yet at this time they have absolutely nothing. With that said I am going with a missile launch by our military or the more likely and less nefarious notion of someone firing off a large amateur rocket at sea for what ever reason which would explain as to why our military as well as other tracking agencies at this time have no clue as to what it is.
Does the government really expect us to believe that was a plane contrail? It was clearly a missile of some sort. Very weak attempt at a cover-up. Unfortunately we'll probably never know what kind of launch that was or the circumstances around it.
Leave it to some smart, level headed guy to do research and ruin it for everybody. Or is he part of the conspiracy too? tony where are u?
If this is true, why wouldn't US Airways come out and say this in the first place? And for that matter, why wouldn't this be confirmed by the FAA? it was a missle..case closed...
