    I'm over 300 pounds and get depressed when I eat vegetables, but I think PETA's aweseome. They're fighting what's ultimately a losing battle, so just have fun, turn some heads and don't filter yourself.

    Can we all agree to support the ASPCA? Many good deeds done without the nutjobs and attention shoring.

    If PETA wasn't so stupid about it, their message would be so much more powerful.

    As it is, the most coherent argument people seem to raise about animal rights is that it somehow takes away from concerns about human rights...which makes no sense. Just because you are an activist in animal rights does not mean you cannot also fight for human rights. In fact the two are linked...if one is to grant rights to those who we clearly deem inferior, then what is there to be said about rights granted to "equals".
