That would move your X-Box around a lot -- I wouldn't recommend that since moving a 360 just a little while it is running is trouble. As a side note -- i've juggled my PS2 (plugged in and running), a bowling ball, and a Viking sword without causing any harm to the Playstation or the disk inside.
Slightly OT - but FYI - Costco Wii bundle: Console + Extra controller + Wii Sports + Wii Play + Nunchuck + Mario Galaxy all for the amazing bundled price of... $349 + tax The east Plano store has about 15 of them... they may have them at other Costco locations... Just a heads up. Sounds like a good deal - I just had other bills to pay.
I just got it back it's manufacture date is older than the one I sent in...going to call and get the scoop. Also they sent me 1 month free Xbox live GOLD membership..... Anyone want it? I already have my company paying for our memberships.... Free to anyone that wants it. DD
Ok, this might have already been posted and I skimmed over it, but what's the number I have to call and what do they need (Info). Mine just died!!
they dont send you a brand new one..just a refurbished one they fixed up already. not sure what calling them will do.
But is it fixed up with the zephry board, or did they just use the X-heat sink fix? PeeZocker Inc. DD
My Xbox 360 video just started to act up...looks like this now Now I need to wait for/induce a RROD to get MS to cover this
Just something but my Xbox..... Is there a way to transfer the save game files from my old Xbox to my 360? If I can swap them over I'd sell my Xbox.
*****!!! Mine just did the Ring of Death on me just now...frikkin sucks I don't really want to wait a couple weeks to send it in and them sending me another one so I did a little research and it turns out that most XBox's do the ring of death because the X-Clamps are horrible in the system that holds the motherboard, CPU and the GPU together You can sort of shake the Xbox and tell that it's loose by the way it sounds...frikkin screws are loose, so I'm going to buy a repair kit from xbox360repair.com and see how that goes...I really hope this works because if it doesn't that means I'm out a Xbox because it voids the warranty On the website, it says that Microsoft glues the X-Clamps together instead of replacing them with a better and more sturdy X-Clamp...MS POS It's really pissing me off because the Xbox also scratches games...I'm really tempted to just buy a PS3 because of these problems, but I'm a sports game nut and sports games on PS3 don't run as smoothly than it does on the 360. Anyway, I ordered the repair kit online and should get it by Monday or Tuesday and I'll post the results...POS
Not really a problem anymore AFAIK. I think only NCAA 08 and Madden 08 were like that, and the 09 versions of both games are supposed to be identical on both platforms (or, at the very least, perform at 60 FPS on both).
mine has only died once and it only took 6 days to get it repaired. And i still never play my ps3, 360 is wayu better
Well...now it appears that I too am a victim. My 360 Elite died out of nowhere. I have it hooked up via HDMI. The colors started going wonky. Now I intermittently get no video at startup or if I get video, the colors go wonky after a few minutes. I tried a different HDMI cable. No luck. I get audio but no video with component cable. Looks like I need to send it off and get it fixed.
My friend's did the same thing, its covered . He just called and told them the problem, and they fixed it no problem .
Was that under the first year warranty? Mine's a couple years old now. I'll give them a call anyway, nothing to lose.
