I suggest the OP to choose a different career path than attemping to be a psychologist because he sucks at it.

The biggest problem is LOFHs think that LOFs think Lin is an all-star. Fact is LOFs love Lin not because Lin is an all-star. All-star or not, people always love him.

Lin is not lacking confidence. quite the opposite. he's overconfident. he knows that the plays Mcfail/sampson make them run are too simple or just don't work. so he tries to run his own plays and call for screens. but he gets yanked.

Harden knows he's the man on offense from day one. he suggests some plays (some isolation sets for himself) and it gets implemented.. over and over and over again. it worked great at first but teams are planning for him more and more now. Harden needs to trust Lin to initiate the plays so that everyone can get easy shots.

Mcfail/sampson are just idiots. samspon will keep brown nosing until Mcfail gets fire amd hope that he become the replacement. Mcfail will keep trying to do what he knows.. pounding the ball inside until finally team's gone through 1000 pf's.

    You just described the problem.

Lin does not play like an all-star but gets more attention than all-stars.

So regardless of what his fans think, that attention brings hype, and hype brings expectations.

There's only *one* Asian-American player on the court right now, suddenly this one person's character and actions is a representation of the whole community? stfu lol

Asians I know and met are all kinds of people. Some are passive, some are passive-aggressive, some are downright aggressive. Some lack confidence, some are full of confidence (or too much). All types of different people, just like everyone else. Don't stereotype.
