We simply haven't been executing on 3rd down on D and O. Too many 3rd and long on offense and too many 3rd down penalties on D.
The offense has been a problem for a while now. That sounds ridiculous at first, but think about 2009-2010 when they were supposed to be an elite offense. There were games where they came out the gate without any fire, passion, like they do this season. The redzone % was of the worst in the NFL. So many times they had little to no score by halftime and had to rely on second half comebacks. I feel the offense this year was the same. I remember the 1st quarter of the Dolphins game.. twitter was blowing up at the Texans because the offense wouldn't get going. It wasn't until the defense forced turnovers that we started scoring. It seemed like the offense wouldn't get fired up until the defense made a big play. The offense did nothing against GB or NE. Hell, the offense barely scored on the BILLS. The same BILLS who had the most yards allowed in back-to-back games the 2 games before the Texans played them. Even the Jets game was a struggle to score points.
